The first steps in implementation of any investment projects are to develop the detailed strategy that governs relations between the parties and the respective business model.
Legal regulation of relations within the investment project needs to be duly ensured for the investor to achieve the purpose. The respective form of legal regulation of such relations is an investment contract.
The law does not define individual types of investment contracts, and the concept of an investment contract is generally not specific enough. Thus, different contractual structures can be used subject to the selected investment mechanism and with account of the preferences and conditions for interaction of the investment project parties.
At the same time, given the specific terms and conditions, the investment contract must be developed in accordance with a number of legal aspects, with account of the investor’s interests, and aimed at avoidance or mitigation of legal risks.
